Unseen Amsterdam & photography by Jos Kraaijeveld
Wondering who’s that guy that make the wonderful Openhaard pictures? It’s the Amsterdam based befriended photographer Jos Kraaijeveld. From now on he will try to cover each edition of Openhaard. But that’s only a small part of the work he does. Visit his website for portraits and urban-architectural photography.
Unseen Amsterdam is an ongoing series about places in Amsterdam – suburban flats, empty parking spots, back allies and in between meadows – we mostly ignore or don’t really look at. Through his photography Jos gives us a new perspective on these places and their (temporary) architecture. He captures them and presents them to us to examine. Are they really horrible, empty and dull? Do we recognize them and even entered them? Visit his ongoing journey here.
