Art: Installation from Attak (OH#6)
Our graphic friends from Attak have been very busy. We knew they did a few spatial works in the past, but now they have really sniffed up the 3D and paiting vibe. With this overview we would like to give you an insight in the special projects by Casper and Peter.
One of their first installations was ‘To Hell With Heaven’ in 2008.
When ATTAK celebrated their 5th anniversary in September 2009 they build an installation called A+. Togheter with Swedish artist Charlott Markus they made a spatial installation. The installation A+ is mobile and open for interpretation and interaction.
The installation grew over time and was also exhibited at the CBK (Den Bosch) and at KOP (Breda) with a new name: A+ Vol. 2 – POST PUNK PROGRESSION (Attak, Charlott Markus, Manon van Trier & Yasser Ballemans). KOP about the work of the artists (dutch only):

At the end of 2009 Casper and Peter where invited by skate/surf-brand Insight to make a few murals in the Insight headquarters in Biarriz (Spain). And two of their earlier pirate designs – from the first installation ‘To Hell With Heaven’ – made it into the T-shirt collection of Insight.
In this movie we listen to Attak. Next to painting they just loved to talk:
Levi’s HQ Amsterdam also called our paint-boys and asked them to drip some paint onto their virgin walls.

We’ll keep an eye out for their paintings and installations, because we believe this part of the Attak specialities will become bigger and meaner in 2010. Powergestaltung to the painting.
@admin,
Great pic! I am just starting out blogging. How do you find the inspirations for your site? What is the quickest way to get a fan base? (You know what I mean, members that actually want to stop by and read your material?)
(Sorry for the newb questions, I just want to get started!)
Sincerely!
